GIS has rapidly become critical to the successful deployment of NG9-1-1. Agencies have had to navigate two highly technical professions - 911 and GIS - to prepare for NG9-1-1. Emerging leaders in 9-1-1 and GIS have had considerable success in these efforts through a collaborative and cooperative leadership style. This facilitated panel session will share insights into some of the factors that helped cultivate this success.
