IACA | Crime Mapping and Spatial Analysis/Forecasting Webinar.

This webinar is part of the Certification Series 2022-10: Crime Mapping and Spatial Analysis/Forecasting.

All Certification Series webinars will be recorded; if you cannot attend the live session, the recording will be provided as soon as possible to those who register. If you need to catch up, the first 7 sessions are now available in the webinar library.

This session looks at crime as a function of location. Topics such as creating maps with GIS to display raw data, as well as hot spot analysis and spatial distribution will be covered. Maps showing several ways to demonstrate the same data will be shown, and it will be discussed which map is the most effective in conveying your message. Forecasting and modeling will continue to be discussed. Round out your study guide on crime patterns with this session.

This year-long series serves as a study guide for the CLEA/LEAF exams, working through each of the 19 sections tested. The format includes a presentation of the material and a question-and-answer session for each topic.

This webinar will take place Thursday, October 13th at 10 am (EDT)
