El Departamento de Seguridad Pública de la Secretaría de Seguridad Multidimensional de la OEA ha generado este espacio virtual, dirigido especialmente a funcionarios de gobierno, para facilitar el intercambio, la sistematización y la consulta de información y conocimiento sobre algunas áreas claves de trabajo en el ámbito de la seguridad y la justicia penal, incluyendo: Sistemas de Emergencia y Seguridad, Observatorios del Delito, Policías, Prevención y Prisiones.

The Department of Public Security of the OAS Secretariat for Multidimensional Security has created this virtual space especially for government officials, to facilitate the exchange, systematization and reference of information and knowledge on some of the key working areas within the realm of security and criminal justice, including: Emergency and Security Systems, Crime Observatories, Prevention, Police, and Prisons.
